Show & Tell meets Lori's Childhood Trivia

Combining two things on one Sunday. For Round 7 of Lori's Childhood Trivia, see if you can dig the right answer out of my childhood. Which also may have been your childhood.

The rules are easy. Each day, I'll put out a new clue about something from the 1970s. One guess per person per day and no googling.

By entering a guess, you are eligible to grab the image below and add it to your bloggy bling. You can either copy the image and link to this hyperlink, or get the code here.

If you win, you get upgraded from Player bling to Winner bling. Groovy!

Ready for the first clue? The category is Music, and we're looking for a song.

Clue #1: One hit wonder

Oh my G-d, I'm twitching. Show and Tell meets my favourite quiz?

1970s songs...

I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (that coke commercial song)
Kungfu Fighting
One Tin Soldier?

Or is it a one-hit wonder band. That's much harder. You remember the songs; you have no clue who sang them.

Feel free to out me on the referral to Flicka. I don't know that she'll know how I am, but that's ok... she'll know someone admires her!

Pulled out my 70s CD collection and have a few ideas:

David Soul - Don't Give up on Us
Hues Corporation - Rock The Boat
Gary Wright - Dream Weaver
Wild Cherry - Play That Funky Music

BTW, Mel, KungFu Fighting was brought to us by Carl Douglas...
