Perfect Moment Monday: Everybody's gone surfing

Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.

Once a week we engage in mindfulness about something that is right with our world. Everyone is welcome to join. Details on how to participate are at the bottom of this post, complete with bloggy bling.

Please visit the links of the participants at the bottom.

Here's a perfect moment from my week. I hope you'll share yours, too.
====================================
Watching my daughter surf the snow, from our dining room window (hence, the haze). Notice her bare foot. It was in the 70s this day, just after the Halloween blizzard .
Gotta love Colorado.

And I do.
====================================
To participate in Perfect Moment Monday:
  1. Between Sunday night and Tuesday night, write up your own Perfect Moment in a blog post, on Twitter, on Facebook, or simply leave a comment below.
  2. Grab the URL of your Perfect Moment.
  3. Use MckLinky below to enter your (or your blog's) name and the URL of your Perfect Moment
  4. Visit the Perfect Moments of others (from the links below), and let the writers know you were there.
Once you make a Perfect Moment post , you may place this button on your blog.

What Perfect Moment have you recently been aware of? Be sure to visit these moments and share the love, and
please come back next week (click to subscribe).

I love it. Sounds like the crazy swings in weather we get here in NC.

That would give me weather whiplash. But very cool that you have snow surfing. We don't get enough snow for that sort of thing.

Ok now that is just odd. Snow on the ground and 70's? Glad she had fun though.

Barefoot snow surfing in 70 degree weather . . .

You don't get to do that very often!

Yep, that's what I remember about the weather when I was in college (in Denver)...80 degrees one day, 50 degrees the next, snowing the day after that.

Snow surfing looks like fun!

Hmm...well, glad it was no blizzard here--I like to keep that snow at bay as long as I can! But, glad to see she enjoyed it!

Oh Colorado, how I love thee...

Thank you for bringing me there!

That looks like so much fun! And we also have the whiplash weather here, it just doesn't snow (often), so I guess ours is less dramatic.

Next thing you know, she'll be barefoot skiing! Ar, ar.

So, I did a bit of a cheat. I linked up my post on LAST weekend, since we didn't do ANYTHING this weekend. But, now I'm all set up on McLinky to participate more often! Yay!

WOW! How fun!!!

I've been in shorts/short sleeves in the snow (on Mt. Rainer in Washington state.) But I've never been barefoot. Cool!

That would be fun!

We had a really nice morning going for a walk in the sunshine, although it wasn't above 40.

That is SO Tessa...barefoot out in the snow...surfing!

I love Colorado...and I love Tessa.

That is fantastic, and such a dream of mine - to have a blizzard and the next day be able to wear shorts. It looks like Tessa took full advantage!

That is how Rochester weather is. Today is was 70 tomorrow it will be 40. Layering clothing is always important here. great picture.

VERY similar weather in Flagstaff, although we have not had a freak blizzard yet. But we'll get snow and then 70s.

The weather in the west can be nutty. We've had snow on the 4th of July. Crazy.

My perfect moment was not getting wrapped up in making another lap around the walking track this morning and letting my son play on the slides/swings instead. It was still frosty so his jeans gathered frost we brushed off as he giggled each time he blessed each slide with its first slider of the day. I lived in the moment, not the one before it or after it.

I am so jealous! I wonder if I'll ever get hubby to move to Colorado. If only we were independently wealthy. :)
